How to break a Graphic Designer's Heart

For me, I'm no professional designer. But I love it. These are things that break my heart when people say or use these.
1. Comic Sans (enough said)
2. Word Art (just...no)
3. Microsoft Publisher (I'm aware that people can't afford expensive programs but even my school has illustrator. Have the decency to not succumb to the wishes of the Dark Lord!!!!)
4. "I could do that in Microsoft Paint" (Do I even have to explain myself?)
5. For noobs. Clip Art. Default Clip Art. (Eyes burn, can't stand it!)
6. People taking images with watermarks on them. (There's a watermark for a reason!)
7. Times New Roman (ok for academic stuff, not ok for des

I just got a new computer! And I love it. Especially because it's a mac. For anyone who is looking to switch over to a mac i will tell you that you will never go back to pc. If you are a graphic designer, you will love how beautifully photoshop and illustrator runs on it. Also, if you have at least some computer knowledge, the switch isn't so hard. The interface is very user-friendly. I'm so glad i made the switch.

Coming this August the 16th is's biggest and best DevMEET of the summer and we hope you can attend! We will be heading to Centre Island to hang out, check out the petting zoo, going out to eat and exploring the island. It's an all ages meet; come by yourself or with a friend if you like, everyone is welcome!
